The Briton 1130 Series B1130B-SE is a non-handed slimline hydraulic door closer for commercial interior and exterior timber or metal doors. Supplied in a silver finish, this regular-arm closer has adjustable size 1-6 spring strength, a pressure die-cast aluminium body and a steel rack-and-pinion mechanism.
Designed for surface mounting, the closer supports regular pull-side, top-jamb push-side and parallel-arm push-side installation, with closing speed, latching speed and backcheck independently adjustable to suit the opening. The 1130 Series is tested to 500,000 cycles and has been successfully tested on fire door assemblies in accordance with AS 1905 Part 1; suitability should be confirmed with the fire door manufacturer before installation.
