The Electro-Voice EVID-S5.2XB is supplied as a pair of black 5.25-inch two-way full-range surface-mount loudspeakers for professional indoor and outdoor installations. Each speaker combines a weather-resistant polypropylene-cone woofer with a waveguide-coupled 20 mm ferrofluid-cooled high-frequency driver and an internal 60 W transformer for 70 V and 100 V distributed audio systems.

Engineered for demanding environments, the IP65-rated speakers are suitable for background and foreground music, voice evacuation, paging and sound reinforcement. The supplied marine-grade aluminium U-bracket supports flexible installation, while the rear-panel transformer selector provides 70 V, 100 V or 8-ohm operation.
