The analytic functions are set up from the VCA Bridge unit and, on event, data is pushed from VCA Bridge unit into the Wavestore server where its metadata can be used to trigger live events, or stored for retrospective review. Each VCA Bridge can handle up to 16 IP cameras, with multiple units able to be installed across a site.

The data pushed to Wavestore by VCA Bridge can be associated with any number of cameras and specific actions triggered depending on the event, such as move a PTZ camera to a specific preset position. It is also possible for the Wavestore server to re-stream video into VCA Bridge to save on additional streams having to be pulled from the camera. Bounding boxes can be set to be output from VCA Bridge to provide visual verification of what has triggered an event. Wavestore’s VMS can be installed on Wavestore’s own range of servers and appliances, or on a host
of compatible third party servers and appliances, delivering video, data and recording management across the end customers site. VCA Bridge provides full administration, control and management across the end customer’s site for IVA functionality.
