Direct Link Adapter Installer Tool

The Direct Link Adapter (DLA) for the Solution 2000 & 3000 Intrusion panels is a versatile component designed to assist the system integrator in supporting installations from a single panel up to a large-scale roll out.

The DLA allows the integrator to connect directly to the intrusion panel using the A-Link Plus software and the USB port on their PC. Through this connection the integrator can change panel programming, trigger panel commands, review the panel log, and backup or overwrite the panel configuration.

New panel firmware releases can be loaded on to the DLA via a PC. The DLA can then be used (without requiring the PC) to flash the firmware on any panels in the field to the new version, without overwriting or modifying the existing panel programming.

Panel configurations can be loaded on to the DLA from A-Link Plus or from existing panels and then deployed to other panels in the field (without requiring the PC). The DLA can hold up to three pre-programmed panel configurations.
