The PLANET MGB-TLA10 is an IEEE 802.3z 1000BASE-BX SFP transceiver for 1000 Mbps links over single-mode fibre. It uses a simplex LC/UPC connector and wavelength-division transmission at 1310 nm with reception at 1550 nm, supporting a maximum link distance of 10 km. The module also supports digital diagnostic monitoring.

The MGB-TLA10 is designed for industrial Ethernet connections, with an operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C and compatibility with SFP MSA-compliant ports. Its hot-pluggable design supports installation or replacement without powering down the host switch or media converter. The module supports fibre network extensions in compatible PLANET equipment for demanding industrial environments.
