This model uses a Normally Closed reed switch configuration, triggering an alarm circuit when the magnetic field is interrupted beyond its standard 18 mm gap. Built for durability and convenience, the SS-40-BROWN operates in harsh environments from -40°C to +60°C and supports up to 100V AC/DC switching at 0.5A. Both the contact and matching magnet measure 33 mm x 8 mm x 8 mm, making it ideal for flush, symmetrical installation.
